HAIRDRESSING FULL TIME COURSE
Full time course
9 month course
English and Arabic male and female educators
All course handouts and homework are in English
Course consists of a combination of theory, projects, demonstrations, practical and workshops
Each unit in the programme has practical assessments which are recorded and on going to put towards units of credit for final result / exam
Courses are held 3-5 days a week : 9am – 1pm
2 days a week in salon attendance is required : times to be discussed
Salon attendance reinforces Academy training skills (negotiable)
All books, block heads and working materials are provided in the course cost
You must provide your own tools for working ie: scissors, dryers, brushes
knowledge of English written and spoken is required

City & Guilds IVQ assessment & exam certificate – Exam dates : June & Dec
City & Guilds is a UK leading vocational awarding body giving internationally recognized qualifications – all exams and assessments conducted in spoken and written English

foundation coloring
perming techniques
relaxing technique
Class training will take place in the morning 9 – 1 pm
Salon attendance is a ‘hands on ’environment reinforcing students Academy curriculum training skills, knowledge and understanding (mornings and afternoons)
First 3 mths covers assistant work and next 6 mths as a junior hairdresser
Student action plans will be incorporated to appraise their work and competences
You will be required to bring in models to complete your practical work throughout the course
A variety of teaching methods are used to improve motivation in the learning cycle and encourage student retention
Demonstrations, multimedia, videos, are constantly used throughout the course work
